As a part of Truman’s 150th anniversary celebration, you are invited to make your mark on Truman’s campus by joining the efforts to renovate Sesquicentennial Plaza. The Mall that stretches between McClain Hall and the Student Union Building received much-needed updates in the summer of 2015. Renovations to the Sesquicentennial Plaza will pick up where renovations to the Mall left off, improving the area directly in front of the Student Union Building.
The Sesquicentennial Plaza project gives alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends the opportunity to be a part of the 150th celebration while providing resources to continue the renovation of this well-trafficked space. Bricks can be personalized with a gift of $150, and personalized 8″x8″ pavers are $500.
Additionally, donors can name items provided as a part of the Mall renovation, including the Plaza, Fountain and Gardens. Items already spoken for include the Library Patio, Bike Racks, and Benches.
